Many people have more or less ants in their homes. From clothes to beds, furniture, walls of the house, and even food, one has to suffer from ants.

There are various types of ant repellants available in the market. However, if there are children at home, it is better not to use them. In addition, if you do not wash your hands properly after using chemicals, you may be in harm’s way. So choose natural ways to get rid of ants. Know what to do-

Lemon Juice:
Put lemon juice or lemon peel on the places where ants come out. Even while mopping the house, mix some lemon juice and mop the house with that water. You will see that the infestation of ants has reduced a lot. Also, always keep the kitchen slab clean and keep the lemon peel there.

Malta:
Like lemon, Malta is also effective in repelling ants. Mix a cup of hot water and a few orange peels to make a paste. Spread this paste around the ant entrance, and remove it after a while. You can also put a few pieces of mortar on the kitchen slab if you want.

Pepper:
Although ant sugar is very fond, pepper is not at all. So sprinkle pepper on the entrance of ants. Apart from this, if a mixture of pepper and water is spread at the entrance of ants, then the infestation of ants is greatly reduced.

Salt:
Salt also helps eliminate ant infestations. Spread salt in the corners or cracks of the room. Also, spray the ant entrances and walls with a mixture of salt and hot water. You will see that the ants will go away.

White Vinegar:
Ants can’t stand the smell of white vinegar. Make a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Add a few drops of essential oil and shake well. Spray this mixture on the entrance of ants, walls, corners of the house, doors, windows, etc.

Peppermint Oil:
To repel ants from the kitchen, bathroom, and other areas of the house, make a cotton ball with a few drops of peppermint essential oil and place it on slabs, cabinets, and pantries, in garbage cans, and where there are a lot of ants. Ants will run away.

Cinnamon Powder:
Sprinkle some cinnamon powder in and around the cabinet or food storage area. Even if you keep food or fruit covered on the table, and spread the cinnamon powder around it, ants will not come. In addition, before going to sleep at night, sprinkle cinnamon powder on the ant nest and its surroundings, you will wake up in the morning and see that the group of ants has fled.
