If the hair of the child at home is thin, many people think that shaving them repeatedly will make the hair thicker. Others think that if you don’t shave repeatedly, the roots of your hair will remain weak. But have you ever wondered if there is any scientific explanation for these thoughts? In reality, there are many common misconceptions about hair that are not true. Rather, those ideas do more harm than good.

Shaving: Repeated shaving does not make hair thicker. There is no scientific evidence for this. Hair normally grows from follicles. The follicle is located a few millimeters below the scalp. Because of this, even after shaving, there is no effect on the follicles for hair growth.

Curly Hair Removal:
It is wrong to think that plucking the scalp will result in more hair growth. No studies have found such evidence so far. Hair grows from individual follicles. For this, if mature hair is plucked, the hair will grow again from that follicle, and that too will be white. But that one will not affect any other follicle. Hair loss is usually caused by lifestyle and genetics.

Regular oil intake:
Many people think that applying oil on the head every day will make hair grow faster. Not really. On the other hand, if the scalp is oily, dust-sand-dirt sticks to it, and hair loss increases. It is enough to take the oil on the head normally two-three days a week. This will increase the blood circulation of the scalp and the hair roots will be stronger than before. But you must apply oil on your head before taking a bath.

Frequent haircuts:
Some people think that repeated haircuts will make hair grow. For this reason, some people cut their hair regularly. However, the reason for asking for a haircut every few months is that ⎯ the haircut thins the underside of split ends. It looks very nice then. And usually, the hair grows from the root. Besides, everything else depends on genes and hair care.
